People who will benefit most from Close to Full

Shortly before I retired, I looked on the internet for information about how to live a life as “Close to Full” as possible during retirement. It seemed like most blogs were about managing my retirement money. While this was very helpful, I really wanted more. For me, I saw retirement as the last chance in my life to be able to do something significant–possibly extraordinary. I want my life to count for Christ; this is my last opportunity to make that happen.

Close to Full is for you if…

  • You consider retiring in the next few years and desire to make a difference in your retirement years.
  • You recently retired and are trying to figure out how to navigate retirement life so you can free up your time to enjoy retirement to the fullest.
  • Youretired and want to make a difference in this world.
  • You retired years ago and would like to help others find their way through the struggles of retirement living.
  • You retired and have felt empty in the activities or lack of goals you have completed.
  • You retired and want to learn to make new friends and develop meaningful relationships.
  • You retired and want to leave a legacy of a life well spent rather than just a monetary legacy.
  • You retired and have some questions about how others are living their best retirement life.
  • You want to be part of a community where you can connect and explore retirement life.
  • You have great ideas to share with others about the ministry and mission you have been a part of during retirement.
  • You retired and could use help and encouragement to become involved in ministry and missions.
  • You retired and are looking for ways to be a good steward of your time and money.
  • You know a retiree or a retired couple who does not have access to the internet but would listen to the information you are learning and encourage them.

Close to Full is not for you if…

  • You do not plan to retire in the next 5-7 years.
  • You have an interest in living for yourself.
  • You are a retiree who has life all figured out and does not have time to share your life experiences with others.
  • You find offense when Christians talk about and live out their beliefs.
I Timothy 6:18 (NIV) Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.
